Innergy Meditation, in collaboration with UMindfulness, is delighted to present an evening with neuroscientist, bestselling author, TED speaker, and PBS presenter Dr. Wendy Suzuki. Dr. Suzuki is researching the science behind the extraordinary, life-changing effects that exercise and meditation can have on the most important organ in your body: your brain.


Dr. Suzuki is a Professor of Neural Science and Psychology in the Center for Neural Science at New York University. Her major research interest is in the area of brain plasticity. She began her academic career studying areas in the brain critical for our ability to form and retain new long-term memories.


More recently, she was catapulted into the national spotlight with her work focused on understanding how aerobic exercise and mindfulness can be used to improve learning, memory and higher cognitive abilities in humans.


Her book, Healthy Brain, Happy Life, is a national and international bestseller, and her TED Talk is ranked #2 on TED’s list of the most popular TED Talks of 2018, with over 28 million views on Facebook. Her PBS special (also called Healthy Brain, Happy Life) is currently airing on PBS stations around the United States.
